Wellness Check-Ups: Rooted in Evidence-Based Practice
We base our care on evidence-based practices to ensure that you receive the highest quality service. During your annual health exam, our primary goal is to assess your overall health comprehensively. Here’s what you can expect during your wellness visit:
Reviewing Family Medical History
- We consider factors such as heart disease, lupus, gout, pancreatic cancer, and more to understand potential genetic influences on your health.
Personal Health Choices
- We discuss your personal health choices, including tobacco use, recreational drug use, sexual health, and alcohol consumption, to provide guidance for a healthier lifestyle.
Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests
- We may order essential tests like cholesterol, glucose, complete blood count, and EKG to assess your current health status.
Lifestyle Recommendations
- Our medical staff offers recommendations for lifestyle changes to help prevent diseases and promote overall well-being.
Medication Assessment
- We gather information about your current medications to ensure they align with your health goals.
Immunization Status
- We inquire about your immunization status and provide recommendations to ensure your overall health and well-being.
Vital Signs Assessment
- We measure vital signs such as blood pressure, body temperature, and heart rate to monitor your overall health.
Body System Assessment
- We assess various body systems, including the lungs, heart, eyes, nose, throat, and ears, to ensure comprehensive care.

Complete Blood Count (CBC):
Measures red and white blood cell levels. Red cells deliver oxygen; white cells fight infections.

Assesses average blood sugar levels over the past three months.

Iron Test:

Vitamin D Test:
Evaluates Vitamin D levels, which help absorb calcium and phosphorus.

T4 and TSH Tests:
Assess thyroid gland function.
