Midwest Express Clinic Sponsors Area Cal Ripkin Rookie Program Team

Encouraging area youth to participate in sports and activities is important, which is why we chose to be a sponsor for an 8U Cal Ripkin Rookie program baseball team during a recent tournament. The team is known as the Athletics or A’s and comprised of boys ages 6 – 8 years of age.

The Babe Ruth League’s Cal Ripkin Division baseball program is designed to keep baseball fun, especially for those participating in the early stages of youth sports. The Rookie division helps develop young players’ confidence by utilizing a pitching machine, minimizing the fear of being hit by a pitch and providing more hittable balls at the plate, helping players improve not only their batting skills but also the abilities of those playing in the field. These boys have been able to develop their skills so well that some of the players on the Athletics team have been selected as part of the All Star team.

Midwest Express Clinic is proud to support our area youth through the various programs, sports, and activities. While our day-to-day goal is to provide everyone with convenient, professional medical care, we strive to help our communities outside of the office walls by supporting local activities and charities.
