Donate to Half Way Home Animal Rescue for a Free B-12 Shot
Midwest Express Clinic employee Melissa has a passion for helping others and that includes saving animals. Although she already has three boxers living in her home, she knew she wanted to do more, so in December of 2018, she took the opportunity to foster with Half Way Home Animal Rescue.
HWH pulls animals from euthanasia lists across the country, giving them a second chance at life. They are a non-profit animal rescue that runs solely off the help and donations from fosters and sponsors. This means that they don’t have a facility and all the food, necessities and vet care coming out of the rescue funds. The only way they receive funds is from donations made by wonderful supporters.
Since December, Melissa has fostered seven dogs, and each of them has moved on to amazing homes to live their best lives. Every month, the rescue itself picks up anywhere from 10 – 100 dogs, puppies and cats and, unfortunately, not all of them are healthy. They come to the rescue with kennel cough, fleas, parvo, and more, and the organization works to get them healthy enough to find their “furever” homes.
At Midwest Express Clinic, we do healthcare the right way. We want to help everyone we can no matter the situation, and we are now reaching out to our communities. We are pairing up with HWH in the fight to help these animals, and are inviting our supporters, patients and friends to help out, too, by donating!
With every donation, you will receive a FREE vitamin B12 shot* from Midwest Express Clinic, and we will match your donations up to $1,000.
