Biography
Katarzyna (Kasia) Marshall MSN, FNP-C has been taking care of others ever since she was a young girl when her younger sister was diagnosed with a chronic medical condition. She did not always think a career in the medical field was for her. She got her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in International Studies, Polish Studies and History. After working as an administrative assistant, she was given the opportunity to work alongside nurses. While observing the nurses, she realized that nursing has always been a part of her life and decided to pursue a career in nursing.

During her academic career, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as well as a couple other honor societies. She has since become a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her medical career, she has experience as a registered nurse in an adult and pediatric medical-surgical unit for 1 year and then in a cardiovascular thoracic intensive care unit for 4 years. Her career so far has provided her clinical experience in family practice, cardiology, prompt care, and pediatrics.
In her spare time, Kasia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, spending time outdoors, and cooking.
