Midwest Express Clinic Celebrates 10 Years
Tuesday, Feb. 22, marks the 10-year anniversary of the very first Midwest Express Clinic opening its doors in Munster, Indiana.
We quickly realized our operations needed to expand, and fast. Patients were waiting days or weeks to be seen by their primary care doctors or wasting time and money on expensive ER visits for non-emergency ailments. The community needed and deserved more options for same-day, affordable, quality care.
Rapid growth
We jumped into action to accommodate our growing patients’ needs. Over the next two years, Midwest Express Clinic opened clinics in Schererville, Indiana, as well as Willowbrook and Blue Island, Illinois. Through the smart acquisition of existing clinics and the opening of new clinics, Midwest Express Clinic rapidly grew to 16 active locations across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland by January of 2020.
But we didn’t stop there. We opened several additional locations during 2021, and we will continue adding clinics in 2022. Our North Hammond and Northbrook locations have opened in the last month, bringing our total clinics to 25, with eight new locations coming soon.
We plan to continue our expansion to better serve our communities.
