Midwest Express Clinic: Presenting Sponsor at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana’s 2022 Soiree

At Midwest Express Clinic, we are always looking for ways to support our local communities. On June 12, 2022, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana hosted The Soiree: An Event to Fight Hunger, and we were proud to be one of only a few presenting sponsors, helping this amazing organization raise over $64,000.

The Soiree is an annual, premier event hosted by the Food Bank to help raise funds for area children, seniors and other individuals and families facing hunger in Northwest Indiana. This year’s event theme was a whodunit with an exciting, live murder mystery detective game for attendees, as well as a silent auction, raffles, a chef’s presentation and more.

Since 1982, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana has provided critical food assistance to individuals and families in need. With a vision of creating a community that is free of hunger, they aim to feed people today to end hunger tomorrow through inspiration and collaboration. Currently, the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana is the only food bank serving Lake and Porter counties, providing hunger relief to nearly 25,000 people per month. Each year, the Food Bank is responsible for acquiring, storing and distributing over 4.5 million meals across these counties each year.

We care about our community and are proud to have supported The Soiree alongside other local reputable businesses and organizations, helping reinforce the Food Bank’s credibility and mission. Our team at MEC is invested in the area and committed to helping local residents through valued organizations such as the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana.
