MEC Donates Medical Supplies to Project C.U.R.E.
On November 25, 2019, the staff at Midwest Express Clinic partnered with Project C.U.R.E. to package medical supplies and equipment for developing countries.
Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of donated medical relief, helping children and families in more than 130 countries. They focus primarily on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases such malaria, HIV/AIDS, and Ebola. Project C.U.R.E also works alongside health experts to treat victims of natural disasters. Every week the organization delivers three to five semi-truck sized containers with the equipment that local hospitals and clinics desperately need.
